laminated glass
What Is Laminated Glass?
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass with plastic interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB), between two or more layers of glass.
Why Do We Use Laminated Glass?
The interlayer in laminated glass keeps the glass layers bonded when broken. Thus avoiding cutting injury. The PVB interlayer also gives the glass higher sound insulation rating and blocks 99% transmitted UV light.
